Advisory Board

The Advisory Board to the Matisse Project has three functions:

1. It provides high level advice and guidance to the Core Team on the shape and progress of the project as a whole.

2. It offers opportunities for taking the results or prospects of Matisse findings and procedures into people and places and activities where Matisse findings may have value, or may be offered further guidance.

3. It acts as ambassadors for the programme, enabling it to get an airing in appropriate quarters, and offering scope for various interested parties to become aware and have the potential for direct involvement with Matisse research and researchers.

The Advisory Board is not designed to meet as a regular Board. It consists of a number of busy and informed people who are ready to be contacted by Matisse researchers, and who may attend Matisse meetings depending on availability and interest. In general two at least of the Advisory Board will attend every six monthly Matisse meeting, including the Chairman.
